Irish Passport Photo Requirements

Size: 35 mm × 45 mm (standard Irish/ICAO format)
Background: Plain white or off-white, no shadows or patterns
Face: Centred, neutral expression, mouth closed, eyes open
Head height: 29–34 mm from chin to crown of head
Lighting: Even, no glare, no flash reflections, no shadows on face
Glasses: Not permitted (Irish Passport Service requirement since 2016)
Recency: Taken within the last 6 months
Print quality: High-resolution photographic paper — no home printing
