Located inside Offline Studios at 63 McCaul St in downtown Toronto, our dedicated photo station uses professional-grade lighting and a calibrated camera to ensure your Iranian passport photo meets every technical requirement — including the current 2 x 2 inch format, correct white background, head sizing, and dress code standards used by Iranian consular services.

We are experienced with Iranian passport requirements and will guide you through the process from start to finish.

Important — Dress Code for Female Applicants: Iranian passport regulations require female applicants to wear a hijab (headscarf) in their passport photo, regardless of where the photo is taken. The headscarf must cover the hair and neck, and the face must remain fully visible. Please come prepared, or contact us in advance if you have any questions.

Iranian Passport Photo Requirements

Size: 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) — current Iranian consular photo guideline
Background: Plain white, no shadows or patterns
Face: Centred, neutral expression, eyes open and clearly visible
Head height: Face covers 60–75% of the photo; chin to crown about 1–1.5 inches
Lighting: Even, no glare, no flash reflections, no shadows on face
Female dress code: Hijab required — headscarf covering hair and neck, face fully visible
Recency: Taken within the last 3 months
Print quality: High-resolution photographic paper — no home printing

Current Iranian Interests Section photo guidance for North American consular submissions lists photos as 2 x 2 inches. Some older or general Iran MFA references may still mention 3 x 4 cm; if your application checklist gives a different size, bring the checklist and we will prepare the photo to that specification.
